FIBA Oceania - Australia and New Zealand fight for Beijing ticket
TOORMINA (FIBA Oceania Championship) - FIBA Oceania has announced recently the dates for the FIBA Oceania Championship for Men which will be played in a best of three series between Australia and New Zealand. The winner will go to Beijing, the looser will earn a spot for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament in summer 2007

Game 1: Brisbane August 20th 2007 - Game 2: Sydney August 22nd 2007 - Game 3: Melbourne August 24th 2007
The FIBA Oceania Championships for Women will be held in New Zealand in the city of Dunedin on the South Island between September 24th to 30th. Australia and New Zealand are already qualified for Beijing as World Champions and by continent quota; the third placed team will earn a spot for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying tournament.
