FIBA - MiZo Pécs, Habana march into finals

PÉCS (FIBA Women's World League Day 3) - MiZo Pécs and Basketball Club Habana advanced to the Finals of the FIBA Women's World League from qualifying Group B in Pécs this weekend.

The hosts, who won their opener against the Cubans, followed that up with a 94-46 thrashing of Djoliba AC of Mali on Saturday and then an 86-53 victory over CTNW on Sunday.

The Cubans bounced back from their setback to win two straight, defeating CTNW 78-74 and then hammering Djoliba AC 86-61.

Last month, the WCBA All Stars China of China and TEO Lithuania progressed from Group A to the finals.
