FIBA - Last chance to get Venue Passes and Finals Passes; Day Passes to follow

MIES, Switzerland (FIBA Basketball World Cup) - Fans wishing to purchase Venue Passes and/or Finals Passes for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup should make the most of the final opportunity to do so by going to www.fiba.basketball/spain2014/tickets.

The period of availability for Venue Passes and Finals Passes comes to an end on Monday 5 May, when another type of tickets, Day Passes, will be unveiled.

Venue Passes are the easiest way to enjoy all the games taking place in any of the six cities hosting FIBA's flagship event - Bilbao, Gran Canaria, Granada and Sevilla for the Group Phase; Barcelona and Madrid for the Final Phase. What's best, they are also the cheapest way, since fans will be able to save 20 percent on the official price for the individual sessions, with passes priced as low as €103,20 for 15 Group Phase games.

Finals Passes offer combined access to the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup Final (Sunday 14 September) and the Third-Place Game (Saturday 13 September) in Madrid. They are available only to fans that have purchased a Venue Pass for any of the six host cities.

These two types of passes first went on sale in February and, due to outstanding demand from fans around the world, an additional allocation followed in April.

Day Passes, which are available for Group Phase, Round of 16 and Quarter-Finals action, go on sale at 12:00 local time (GMT +2) on Monday 5 May.

This type of ticket enables fans to watch all the games played in one venue on a particular day.

Session Tickets, the last type of ticket to be unveiled, go on sale on Tuesday 1 July. Individual tickets for Semi-Finals and Finals (Final and 3rd Place Game) will also become available on this date.
