MIES (FIBA Americas Championship) - With the FIBA Americas Championship tipping off in Venezuela's capital of Caracas on Friday, FIBA announced a wide-ranging distribution of the event throughout the continent and also in the rest of the world.
Direct TV, TVES and TV Meridiano in the host country will ensure that the home fans receive extensive coverage of the games and Direct TV and Fox Sports together provide a great pan-continental exposure.
In Brazil, Sportv along with ESPN Brasil are broadcasting the games, while TYC Sports are providing coverage in Argentina as well as other Latin American countries. In the USA, ESPN (through ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes) and NBA TV will be following the event and The Score and NBA TV will be showing the event in Canada.
