GENEVA (Basketball Without Borders) - Basketball Without Borders (BWB) will make its first ever visit to the city-state of Singapore and Southeast Asia when it holds a four-day camp from the 28th of June until the 1st of July, the National Basketball Association (NBA), Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced on Wednesday.

BWB is the NBA and FIBA's global basketball development programme that uses the sport to create positive social change in the areas of education, health and wellness.

It will feature NBA players and personnel as coaches for the top 60 youth basketball players from across Asia as selected by FIBA and its participating federations.

The camp will also feature extensive community outreach. Efforts will focus on grassroots basketball development and health-related issues with a focus on youth fitness.

In addition, there will be a product donation to local community-based organisations that will include school supplies, clothing, sports equipment, and other items.
