    Lebanon
    2011 World Championships

    Team Characteristics
Very solid, hard playing team with good overall game. Good defense, mixing man to man and zone, and solid offense make them consistent performers. Use roles to maximize their impact on the game. Can disrupt the opponenet with defensive ball pressure and match up zone defense. Very unselfish where in half court motion game or running set plays. Push only when available and will make the defense defend for long periods of time.

    Offensive Tendencies
Make good use of on ball screens, down screens, and hand offs in their half court offense. Will push in transition but are best in their half court set plays and offense. Overall skill level is good allowing them to play multiple positions all over the floor. Can score from behind the three point line, in mid range, and around the basket. When patient they will produce good shots and make a high percentage.

    Transition
Accounts for a small part of their offensive production but will take advantage of any break situation. Wings run floor quickly and get ball to the rim with strength. Ball comes up the middle of the floor and all players look to score before shooting on the break.

    Set Plays
    1.   Wing entry, UCLA cut, hand off, double screen followed by on ball screen.
    2.    Wing entry with UCLA cut then repeat on cut back to top for hand off, double screen on weak side.
    3.    Double high on ball screen, screener rolls to basket as other cuts to high post, high/low pass.
    4.    Post down screen from high to low post, high post catches pass and dumps pass down low.

    Out of Bounds
Basic set with screening, cutting, and back doors. Look for quick shot or catch and penetrate.

    Defense Tendencies
Mix man to man and zone with match up tendencies. Will switch a lot all over the floor on screens, on ball screens, or interchanges. Like to double the ball on penetration or during on ball screening action.

    Zone Defense
Match up look mixed with zone alignment. Very active with good communication by all players. Cutters are passed off to next player to keep pressure on the ball. They can disrupt the offense with this zone defense.
