    TEAM CHARACTERISTICS
    Many positive features of this team make them competitive. Consistency, hard play, and good decisions allow them to make up for weaknesses. Good team concept and fulfill roles well. Can run if available but can also run good offense and take good shots. Good offense balance due to unselfish approach to the offensive end of the floor.


    TRANSITION
    Transition offense is emphasized when it presents itself. Opportunistic team that will take good shots and make good decisions on the breaks. Do a great job of driving the ball up the sideline and reversing to the trailer for a three point shot. Guards have ability to drive to the rim or pull up in the lane for short jump shot.


    OFFENSIVE TENDENCIES
    All players are equally involved in the offense and do a great job of sharing the ball. Shooting behind on ball screens and off penetration are productive scoring options. Posts will use low block and step out and on ball screens. Mixture of half court spread offense and set plays. Do a good job of finding each other for post shots or spot up jump shots. Really drive ball hard to the basket and draws fouls as posts crash offensive glass hard.


    SET PLAYS
    1. Two over the top cuts create motion, followed by a on ball screen and penetration.
    2. Guard to guard ball reversal followed by cross screen and down screen action.
    3. Entry pass and cut to opposite corner, on ball screen and drive down lane.
    4. Down screen to free perimeter player, quick on ball screen and roll with penetration.


    OB PLAYS
    Ball side post will screen for guard and step to corner to catch. Inbounds passer follows pass for hand back from post and drive into paint. Weak side players screen to occupy defenders.


    DEFENSIVE CHARACTERISTICS
    Basic man to man team with consistent rotations and block outs. Do a good job on the glass and rebound aggressively. Help oriented man to man with good communication and role definition.
