    TEAM CHARACTERISTICS
    Aggressive style of basketball on both ends of the floor. Undersized, but more than make up for it with poise, unselfishness, and determination. Balanced on offense and together on defense. Possess traits that will help them compete against any team on any night.


    TRANSITION
    Productive transition game that can play at different speeds. Quick breaks come off turnovers and blocks with any player bringing the ball up the floor. Posts can rebound and advance the ball down the middle of the floor. A slower break is also effective by hitting the trailing player or flowing right into on ball screen and roll actions.


    OFFENSIVE TENDENCIES
    All five players very involved in half court offense. Unselfish team that uses post players well. Post step high for ball reversal and then screen away, on ball screen, or slash to the basket. Like to use baseline drive to set up passes to open shooters or cutting post players. Hard playing team that challenges the defense each possession.


    SET PLAYS
    1. Corner pass, double screen, back screen for lob pass.
    2. Wing entry, UCLA cut, re-screen for same player, on balls screen and roll.
    3. High post entry, flare for point guard, ball reversal, double screen, on ball screen.
    4. Flex action to on ball screen and step back by guard.
    5. High post entry, flare screen by post for perimeter shot.

    ZONE OFFENSE
    Versatile zone offense that can change with different defensive looks. Can be 5 out, 4 out/1 in, and 3 out/2 in and flow back and forth in same possession. Guards can play in high post and on catch, they look for diving post through the lane.


    OB PLAYS
    Various actions result from several sets. One features a baseline screen, screen the screener action. The box sex uses screen the screener and on ball screen action. Also form the box set, perimeter player sets up screen for post dive and catch at the rim.


    DEFENSIVE CHARACTERISTICS
    Undersized, but physical and aggressive defensive team. Challenge every drive to basket, shot, and post feed. Will draw charges with good weak side rotation. Will pick up in the full court man to man to slow down the offense and may trap to cause turnovers.
