FIBA - ANTENNA TV and OTE TV awarded rights for Spain 2014

MIES - FIBA on Monday announced the awarding of the exclusive TV rights for Greece (free-to-air and pay tv) of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup (in Spain) and EuroBasket 2015 (in Ukraine) to ANTENNA TV and OTE TV.

Free-to-air ANTENNA TV, a member of the ANTENNA Group (Greece’s leading media group) and OTE TV, the fastest growing pay TV platform in Greece (a business unit of OTE, the leading telecommunications Group in South-East Europe), will broadcast the entirety of the tournaments to cement the excellent cooperation with FIBA which was established in September on the occasion of EuroBasket 2013.

Following a successful promotional campaign with ANTENNA - who won an award for this spot - the combined EuroBasket 2013 coverage in Greece delivered some of the highest ratings and one of the biggest amounts of total hours of quality coverage for the event.

Basketball fans in Greece will be able to follow ANTENNA’s coverage, of both events, on the internet – via antenna.gr - and on mobile.
