MIES - FIBA on Tuesday revealed it had reached an agreement with SportA enabling Germany's two public broadcasters, ARD and ZDF, to broadcast all of the German national team's group phase games at EuroBasket 2015.
Germany will face Iceland, Serbia, Turkey, Italy and Spain in Berlin, the host city for Group B action in Europe's premier basketball event.
As a result of the agreement, German basketball fans can look forward to watching all five of their team's contests live and for free on public TV.
Should Germany qualify for the Final Phase, any additional game(s) will be broadcast live on ARD or ZDF, subject to tip-off time.
Germany's Group B games at EuroBasket 2015 will be broadcast as follows (all times CET):
Saturday 5 September
Germany v Iceland, 15:00 - live on ZDF
Sunday 6 September
Serbia v Germany, 15:00 - live on ZDF
Tuesday 8 September
Germany v Turkey, 17:45 - live on ARD
Wednesday 9 September
Italy v Germany, 17:45 - live on ARD
Thursday 10 September
Germany v Spain, 17:45 - live on ARD
EuroBasket 2015 takes place from 5 to 20 September in France, Germany, Croatia and Latvia.
The Final Phase of the competition will be held in the multi-functional Lille Arena, which has a capacity of 27,000.
