Team Characteristics
Aggressive, hard playing team that embodies positive team approach. Uses pressure and quickness to their advantage on defensive end and rely on penetration, transition and post play on offense. Good mix of man and zone defense to change the tempo of the game. 

 

Offensive Tendencies    
Scoring comes from penetration and low post play. Good ball movement occupies the defense allowing for penetration opportunities. Will shoot open shots but prefer penetration. Good effort on offensive glass. 

Transition    
Their defense forces turnovers that lead to easy baskets. 


Set Plays
1.    High post flash and catch, point cuts through, cross screen for post up.  
2.    High post entry, point cuts to lane then back screen for left wing.  


Out of Bounds    
Use variety of alignments on baseline plays. Screening and cutting lead sot open shots or isolation on wing or in low post. 

Defense Tendencies    
Will get beat with penetration but overall team help defense is good. May gamble on the perimeter but will also force turnovers with their pressure. Contest and challenge all shots inside. 

Zone Defense    
Aggressive 2-3 zone. Play passing lanes, double team, rotate for steals, and exert excellent ball pressure.
