FIBA 3x3 World Tour returns with resounding digital success

    MIES (Switzerland) - The number of livestream viewers was multiplied by 5 and in total the videos of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour generated over 10 million views in 8 days from August 29 to September 5, 2020.

    MIES (Switzerland) - The number of livestream viewers was multiplied by five and in total the videos of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour generated over 10 million views in eight days from August 29 to September 5, 2020. 

    The FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2020 made its comeback in Debrecen, Hungary for a total of three Masters and the fans (returning and brand new) did not miss a beat. 

    More than 18.4 million people were reached on social media with World Tour content. Fans worldwide were glued to the 3x3 videos, which produced 10.1 million views. 

    Fan engagement reached a World Tour all-time best of 573,000 interactions. For instance, the number of comments on YouTube for the Debrecen Masters 2020 grew by 186% in comparison to the 2019 edition. 

    The numbers for the livestream alone were outstanding, approximately five times higher than the usual World Tour average. Besides the usual 3x3 fans, the number of new subscribers on @FIBA3x3's YouTube channel rose by 633% at the Debrecen Masters 2020 compared to the previous edition.
