    MIES (Switzerland) - FIBA is thrilled to announce that Hong Kong, China will host the FIBA 3x3 UOQT 1 - Olympic Qualifying Tournament in April 12-14, 2024.

    Hong Kong, China has been one of the hosts of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour since 2022, achieving remarkable success on and off the court. Their creative approach has consistently brought exciting new initiatives to the event.

    Hong Kong, China hosted the FIBA 3x3 World Tour in 2022 & 2023, and it witnessed record-breaking attendance, with enthusiastic fans filling the venue. The vibrant atmosphere and strong fan engagement showcased Hong Kong's ability to create a thrilling sports spectacle.

    In addition to Hong Kong, China, FIBA 3x3 has also revealed the locations and dates for the following Olympic Qualifying Tournaments:

    FIBA 3x3 UOQT 2: Utsunomiya, Japan, will take place from 3 to 5 May 2024. FIBA 3x3 OQT: Debrecen, Hungary, will take place from 16 to 19 May 2024.  [/unordered]

    Each tournament will showcase the top teams from around the globe as they battle it out for a coveted spot in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A total of 64 teams will participate in the FIBA 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. The participating teams for each tournament are: 

    UOQT 1 – Hong Kong, China - will take place from 12 to 14 April.

    MEN: Hong Kong, Netherlands, Mongolia, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, Egypt, New Zealand

    WOMEN: Hong Kong, Hungary, Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Poland, Egypt, Mongolia, Chile

    UOQT 2 - Utsunomiya, Japan, will take place from 3 to 5 May 2024.

    MEN: Egypt, Puerto Rico, Mongolia, Lithuania, Japan, France, Latvia, Brazil

    WOMEN: Kenya, Brazil, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Canada, Austria

    OQT - Debrecen, Hungary, will take place from 16 to 19 May 2024.

    MEN: Hungary, Egypt, Madagascar, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mongolia, Japan, France, Lithuania, Netherlands, Latvia, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Poland

    WOMEN: Hungary, Egypt, Tunisia, Canada, Chile, Japan, Mongolia, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Poland, Czechia, Italy, Israel

    The highly anticipated 3x3 Olympic event is scheduled from 30 July to 5 August 2024 at the iconic Place de la Concorde, nestled in the heart of Paris. This historic location, near landmarks such as the Grand Palais, Champs-Elysées, and The Louvre, is the perfect backdrop for this electrifying competition and is poised to become the epicenter of 3x3's dynamic atmosphere during the Games.
