Who are the favorites?
Vienna (AUT) deserve top billing after claiming the Almaty Masters in style just before the mid-season break. The Austrians will be keen to continue their momentum, particularly speedy Nico Kaltenbrunner who is out to win back-to-back MVPs.
They aren't the only Masters winner this season with Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) also having tasted success in 2024. And the Lithuanians will be riding high with three members of the team now sporting Olympic bronze medals.

Speaking of the Olympics and we just have to mention Paris (FRA), who boast silver medalists Jules Rambaut and superstar Franck Seguela. They will still have the cheers from their adoring fans ringing in their ears as they look to back up that monumental success.
Serb teams Partizan Meta Force (SRB) and Liman (SRB) just have to be rated among the contenders because they're both loaded with firepower. They have dudes named Stefan you may have heard of - Milivojevic of Partizan and Kojic of Liman.
And you really thought we would leave off Lausanne (SUI)? The Swiss Maestros have been rolling all season and twice come so close to winning a first Masters title.
They've long reserved their best for their half-court and you just know Lausanne will bring it in front of their legendary home fans.

Who are the players to watch?
There will be plenty of stars ballin' in the Olympic capital and we'll start with a couple of hometown heroes - Westher Molteni and Gilles Martin who aren't only a formidable duo but also excitement machines capable of getting the party started.
The most formidable player in Lausanne might just be Aurelijus Pukelis, fresh off his heroic Olympic performance as he moves into the absolute top tier of players.

Those who did not play in the Olympics will be fresh and determined to take the spotlight. You just know sniper Antonio Ralat wants the attention and he's an assassin who relishes the pressure.
Some of the most talented young players will be on show in Lausanne, including new Latvian sensation Francis Lacis who has a whole new batch of fans after his eye-catching performance in Paris.
The bandwagon is already full for 3x3 unicorn Niklas Kropp, while Swiss Master Natan Jurkovitz is ready to get the crowd hollering because he owns the half-court in Lausanne.
