    Raudondvaris Hoptrans hero Evaldas Džiaugys claims Chengdu MVP

    CHENGDU (China) - Evaldas Džiaugys of Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) was rock-solid all throughout the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu 2025 tournament, and he was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) on 4 May.

    Džiaugys helped Raudondvaris Hoptrans earn their first World Tour win this year in Chengdu after finishing fifth in the Utsonomiya Opener. He had 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 highlights and 1 two-pointer in the final against Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED).

    Džiaugys was terrific throughout their campaign here. He led the entire field in player value with 46.3 as well as highlights with 22. That's on top of scoring a total of 32 points and grabbing 17 rebounds.

    He received his MVP trophy from Mr. Jiang Haitang, Principal of Chengdu Youth Amateur Sports School.
