MUNICH (FIBA Europe Cup) - The four-week long journey in the FIBA Europe Cup Qualification Rounds is now finally set to come to a conclusion with the recipients of the final dozen tickets to the Regular Season to be determined on Wednesday.
As things stand, there still are a lot of unanswered questions in Qualification Round 2, the number which increased further with the news that three extra spots are available after opt-outs from Basketball Champions League clubs.
Nine of the teams will qualify to the Regular Season as winners of their ties, while three more, with the best point differential, will advance to the next phase of the competition as the lucky losers.
The evening will start in Ukraine with an evenly-matched tie between Khimik and Istanbul BBSK, while the final strokes to the Regular Season picture will be made by FC Porto and Bnei Rav-Bariach Herzliya on the other side of Europe, with seven more exciting match-ups squeezed in between.
