    Türkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina move on to Second Round from Group C

    Türkiye made it two wins out of two in this window at the expense of Serbia, bagging a 94-86 victory in Istanbul to advance to the Second Round.

    Tarik Biberovic led the victors with 21 points, splashing three triples in his haul, as Türkiye improves to 4-0. Aleksa Avramovic had 16 for Serbia, who fell to 2-2 in Group C.

    Bosnia and Herzegovina claimed a solid 91-60 win over Switzerland to also progress to the next phase of the Qualifiers.

    On his return to the national side, Dzanan Musa felt right at home as he poured in 25 points and 7 rebounds for the Bosnians. Boris Mbala had 9 points for the Swiss.

    Georgia power through to Second Round along with Spain, who beat Ukraine

    Georgia has advanced to the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers with a resounding 89-60 win over Denmark in Tbilisi, with this result also sending Spain through.

    Marcquise Reed led the way with 29 points for Georgia, helped along by Tornike Shengelia's double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds, along with 5 blocks, as Georgia remains spotless in Group A with a 4-0 record. Denmark's Jonathan Klusmann had 17 in response, but stay winless after four games.

    Despite booking their ticket before they stepped onto the floor, Spain were in no mood to lose their focus as they beat Ukraine 78-64 in the other Group A game.

    Francis Alonso led the Spanish with 12 points in a balanced scoring effort, where the hosts led from tip to buzzer. Andrii Voinalovych had 12 points to pace Ukraine.

    Greece bounce back; Romania deny Portugal's qualification hopes in classic

    Greece recovered from Friday's loss to Montenegro by overcoming them 79-65 in the return game in Podgorica.

    Vasileios Toliopoulos hit an extraordinary seven three-pointers to go for 27 points and 10 assists to lead Greece. Igor Drobnjak paced Montenegro with 14.

    Romania outlasted Portugal 101-96, denying them qualification in this window in a thrilling contest that featured 25 lead changes.

    Daron Russell hit the clutch triple with 26 seconds left that proved to be the dagger as he ended with 29 points for the winners, who get their first win in Group B. Travante Williams had 33 to lead all scorers for Portugal.

    Lithuania bounce back with win over Iceland; Italy need strong fourth quarter to beat Great Britain

    Lithuania gained a measure of revenge for their heartbreaking loss in Reykjavik on Friday by beating Iceland 99-82 to end the second window on a high note.

    Ignas Brazdeikis was unstoppable all game long, scoring both inside and out for his 27 points and 5 rebounds to guide Lithuania. Kristinn Palsson had 23 for Iceland.

    Italy clamped down on Great Britain when they needed to down the stretch to beat them 84-75 and improve to 3-1 in Group D.

    Saliou Niang led the way with 21 points and 7 boards for the Azzuri. Quinn Ellis amassed 19 points on his return for Great Britain.
