VILLENEUVE (EuroLeague Women 2017) - ESBVA-LM have handed Alina Iagupova a chance to restart her EuroLeague Women career after sealing an exciting deal to bring the explosive Ukraine ace back to the competition.

Rated as one of the most talented players on the globe and a leading star of the European women's game, the return of Iagupova will not only be a thrill to fans of the French club, but also for neutrals.

Iagupova signed with Mithra Castors Braine last summer and made her belated, but long-awaited EuroLeague Women debut and as expected, made an impact. However she only lasted a handful of weeks before leaving the Belgian champions.

Now she will once again grace the tournament, with ESBVA-LM also signing her compatriot Lyudmyla Naumenko.

Iagupova is currently recovering from an injury, but has shown her stellar talent since leaving Castors after leading her country to the cusp of a place at EuroBasket Women 2017 with 22 points per game during the first two qualifier windows which has witnessed Ukraine go unbeaten.

Meanwhile ESBVA-LM have already made people sit up and take notice with other off-season acquisitions, landing France young guns Olivia Epoupa and Valeriane Ayayi.
