Amazing Anderson buzzer-beater hands Schio the Italian SuperCup

SCHIO (EuroLeague Women 2017) - Jolene Anderson scored a stunning last gasp basket to propel Beretta Famila Schio to another Italian SuperCup success and inflict heartbreak on EuroCup Women side ASD Pol. Virtus Eirene Ragusa.

Trailing by a point and facing a home floor defeat, the Schio fans erupted in ecstasy along with the players, as Anderson scored a dazzling bucket to hand the hosts a pulsating and memorable 67-66 win.

In a roller-coaster and absorbing Final, Schio's eighth Italian SuperCup success was also founded on 18 points from French star Isabelle Yacoubou in the paint. Meanwhile, there was a telling contribution from Italian guard Georgia Sottana who landed 15 points from the backcourt.

Although Ragusa were left devastated by the gut-wrenching loss, they had many positives to draw from the way they pushed their EuroLeague Women opponents.
