Williams and Tatham to fuel Dynamo Novosibirsk Region

NOVOSIBIRSK (EuroCup Women 2017) – Latoya Williams and two-time Olympian Tamara Tatham have been tasked with leading the return of Dynamo Novosibirsk Region to EuroCup Women.

NOVOSIBIRSK (EuroCup Women 2017) – Latoya Williams and two-time Olympian Tamara Tatham have been tasked with leading the return of Dynamo Novosibirsk Region to EuroCup Women.

The Russian club previously competed in the competition for four successive years between 2010 and 2014 and after missing the last two campaigns, they are back and ready to make a splash.

They have made a solid start by bringing the two North Americans together in the paint. Tatham was part of the Canada team that reached the Quarter-Finals in Rio and she was also the most efficient player on the roster in Brazil – shooting almost 50% from the field.

Tatham will make her EuroCup Women debut having previously played in Europe for the likes of German outfits SV Halle Lions and TSV 1880 Wasserburg - as well as Slovak club Piestanske Cajky. Last season she played in Australia with Townsville Fire.

Meanwhile, Williams brings experience from past campaigns with PEAC-Pecs in EuroCup Women and a season playing EuroLeague Women with Novi Zagreb. She played last season in France with Lyon and that means she will get to go up against her former coach in Marina Maljkovic, who will oversee Galatasaray’s campaign in the same group.

Dynamo Novosibirsk Region have also completed the signing of talented 22-year-old wing Galina Kiseleva from Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje which adds further depth to their roster.
