KRASNOYARSK (EuroCup Women 2017) - Enisey Krasnoyarsk are intent on a third straight EuroCup Women Regular Season and have turned to Rio Olympian Miah-Marie Langlois and Croatian wing Ruzica Dzankic to help make it happen.
With two campaigns in the tournament already in the books - including last year's excellent six wins from eight outings, the most easterly based team in EuroCup Women 2017 face the prospect of a nervy qualifying tie against Hungarian newcomers VBC Cekk Cegled as they look to make their way back to the Regular Season.
At the heart of their bid to jump cleanly over the first hurdle will be their incoming duo, who can both put points on the board in a hurry from the wings. Langlois is known for her three-point shooting, as well as her creative abilities. She rose to prominence with Canada at the 2014 FIBA Women's World Championship and has remained an ever-present fixture – recently impressing with her contributions on Brazilian soil. She moves from Dynamo Novosibirsk Region so has a year’s worth of experience in the Russian Premier League.

Dzankic will play her first season of club basketball outside of her homeland where she has been one of the top performers for several years with ZKK Medvescak. The 22-year-old small forward played more than 26 minutes per game for Croatia at EuroBasket Women 2015 and has continued to play a role in the pursuit of a berth at the subsequent edition of Final Round in Czech Republic next year.
Enisey Krasnoyarsk have also secured the services of Anna Nizhnaya from Kazanochka, Rostov Don captain Milana Sumets and Spartak Noginsk duo Ekaterina Chistyakova and Evgeniya Korotygina.
