Lulea recorded three victories in EuroCup Women last season to make it past the Group stage and the experience of Barthold was priceless. The veteran forward led her team in rebounds with an eye-catching 9.6 per game, while Bussey filled the statistics with plenty of points at a team high 15.8 per game.
There are also several other players who have been re-upped, including Alice Nystrom who will remain with her hometown team for another season.
There will also be a glut of new arrivals, with Canadian guard Dakota Whyte starting off on her pro-career having graduated with a big reputation from the University of Wisconsin.
Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia wing Jelena Antic arrives after playing last year for Alba Iulia in Romania and she has previous EuroCup Women experience from a spell with Maccabi Bnot Ashdod.
Ulrica Holmqvist returns to Sweden for the first time since 2013 after playing with Spisska Nova-Ves, SBK Samorin and BK Zabiny Brno during the last three campaigns. She will add significant strength in the paint.
