Having lost at ZVVZ USK Prague prior to the international break for the last FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers window, Bourges Basket have improved to 3-1 after heaping further misery on Famila Schio.

Johannes was the focal point of a vibrant performance by Bourges as they registered a 55-66 win against their former head coach, Pierre Vincent.

The guard was in inspired mood as she returned 16 points to sink the Italians who are now 0-4 and counting down the days until they can count on the firepower of new signing, Allie Quigley.

Meanwhile the irresistible combination of Hind Ben Abdelkader in the backcourt and Glory Johnson in the frontcourt proved potent for Hatay as the duo inspired a comfortable 71-55 win against the still winless Olympiacos.

The Turkish side moved to 2-2 for the season as they cut down this season's newcomers with a powerful second period. They also prospered from Abdelkader firing 21 points and Johnson weighing in with 17 points – along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Both games came hot on the heels of an eventful and action-packed Wednesday night in the competition.
