MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Wisla Can-Pack and Castors Braine are up and running after taking their first wins of the EuroLeague Women Regular Season at the sixth attempt, while ZVVZ USK Praha claimed a maiden road success.

Wisla made it sixth time lucky as they took down a short-handed BLMA 85-67 in Krakow, with nice displays from several key players. Cheyenne Parker claimed a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, Maurita Reid contributed an all-action 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, while Leonor Rodriguez went 4-of-4 from downtown for 21 points.

Castors Braine shot the lights out from long-range to cut down CCC Polkowice 83-76. They converted 11 triples, with Celeste Trahan-Davis taking care of business inside, with 23 points and 6 rebounds.

ZVVZ USK Praha produced a team effort to win on their travels for the first time and draw level on 4-2 for the season with Sopron after posting a 79-71 success as Marija Rezan, Katerina Elhotova and Marta Xargay all finished with 16 points to their name.

"I'm really happy that we won an away game for the first time," enthused Rezan.

"We knew it would be a hard game. We started really well, but in the second half, we did not begin so great. But I'm proud of each girl on the team.

"We gave a lot of energy and in the end, we did well," added the Croatian.

Yakin Dogu Universitesi exacted revenge on city rivals Fenerbahce for a recent league loss in the Istanbul derby by taking a 72-61 victory to move to 5-1 at the top of Group B.

ESBVA-LM also got their own back for a big domestic defeat by Bourges Basket with a 64-55 success as they heaped the pressure on their French rivals who are now a worrying 1-5.

Elsewhere, UMMC Ekaterinburg capitalized on an injury crisis in the frontcourt of Famila Schio as Brittney Griner accumulated 24 points and 8 boards in a 64-50 win against the Italians. Alba Torrens was also hugely impressive for the home side.

Another Russian side in Dynamo Kursk also made light work of dispatching the under-strength Galatasaray 102-45 thanks mainly to 21 points from Maria Vadeeva and 17 from Elena Kirillova.

However, Nadezhda weren't able to make it a Russian treble as they fell 67-58 at Perfumerias Avenida as Silvia Dominguez dropped 20 points for the hosts.
