Spain’s Amaya Valdemoro had 17 points and nine rebounds for CSKA but it wasn’t enough for the team to avoid its first loss in any competition.
UMMC will now try to seal their progression to the Final Four with a Game Two win in front of their home fans on February 29.
Belinda Snell had 14 points to help Bourges beat Fenerbahce 85-69 in France.
Snell was the star of Australia’s semi-final win over Brazil in 2006.
