EKATERINBURG (EuroLeague Women) - Bourges trailed by 16 points at the start of the second half but battled back to stun previously unbeaten UMMC Ekaterinburg 64-62 in the EuroLeague Women.

Having lost the first encounter by a single point at home, Pierre Vincent's team travelled to Russia full of self-belief.

Celine Dumerc tore apart UMMC with 19 points, including the go-ahead tap-in with 17 seconds remaining.

Poland international Agnieszka Bibrzycka, a member of Spartak Moscow Region's EuroLeague title-winning side last year, attempted a shot from behind the arc but missed for UMMC Ekaterinburg.

Natalia Vodopyanova rebounded for the Russians, but had the ball stolen by Dumerc.

Bourges improved to 5-4 and took over second place in Group B, leapfrogging Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (5-4) who crashed to an unexpected 69-55 home defeat to Jolly JBS Sibenik (3-6).

In Group A, CSKA Moscow did what Ekaterinburg failed to do and that was to remain undefeated with a 76-65 win at Fenerbahce.

TTT Riga (3-6) were thrashed 78-55 at MKB Euroleasing (5-4), thus allowing ESB Lille Metropole to go into the final week with a chance of progressing.

Currently fifth, Lille are also 3-6 after an 82-79 overtime triumph over Phard Napoli (1-8).

In Group C, Spartak Moscow Region trailed early in the fourth quarter but turned on the style in the Czech Republic and won 85-77 with Lauren Jackson scoring a game-high 33 points.

USA international Sue Bird also had an important game, scoring 13 points and making four three-pointers, including the one that sparked Spartak's game-winning run.

US Valenciennes climbed to third at 4-5 after outscoring Kosit 2013 22-7 over the last 10 minutes en route to a 73-65 victory.

In Group D, Dynamo Moscow are in third place at 5-4 following a 75-71 triumph over USO Basket Mondeville.
