MALAGA (Euroleague) - Panathinaikos were the biggest winners in Week 2 of Euroleague Top 16 action by prevailing on the road at Unicaja Malaga.

The Greens followed up their home triumph over Partizan Belgrade with an 81-69 Group G victory in Malaga after an impressive defensive effort in the fourth quarter when they limited Aito Garcia Reneses' men to just eight points.

Lithuania international Sarunas Jasikevicius drilled a trio of three-pointers on his way to 18 points and Drew Nicholas poured in a game-high 19 for Pana.

Marcus Haislip had 14 points and Spain international Berni Rodriguez 12 for Unicaja, who undid the good work of last week when they won at Lottomatica Roma.

"We played one of our best games of this season," Panathinaikos coach Zeljko Obradovic said.

"I am very happy, especially because of our defensive work in the second half."

Partizan (1-1) prevailed 84-76 at home over the Romans (0-2) in the other Group G game after getting big contributions from Serbia international duo Uros Tripkovic (20 pts) and Novica Velickovic (19 pts).

Primoz Brezec scored 19 and his fellow Slovenia international Sani Becirovic 17 for Roma.

CSKA Moscow and Montepaschi Siena won their Group H games.

Defending Euroleague champions CSKA (2-0) rolled to an 87-61 home victory over Cibona Zagreb (1-1) while Montepaschi, who reached the Final Four last season, claimed an 87-79 home success against Fenerbahce.
