EUROLEAGUE – Panathinaikos, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Fenerbahce storm to triumphs
ATHENS (Euroleague) - Blowouts were the order of the day in the Euroleague on Thursday with Panathinaikos, Real Madrid and Regal Barcelona all claiming decisive wins. Fenerbahce Ulker also prevailed after an impressive fourth quarter at Cibona Zagreb. Panathinaikos improved to 3-0 in Top 16 play with a 92-67 triumph over Lottomatica Roma (0-3). The Greens only led 44-39 at half-time but then put the defensive clamps on Roma and outscored them 22-8 in the third quarter to take command for good.

Panathinaikos killed Roma with their long-range shooting, hitting 12 of 25 with former Greece international Nikos Hatzivrettas scoring all nine of his points from behind the arc from four attempts.
Vassilis Spanoulis and Drew Nicholas scored 11 points apiece, Mike Batiste 10 and Sarunas Jasikevicius also contributed nine to Pana's cause.
Pana are 3-0 in Group G ahead of Partizan Belgrade (2-1), Unicaja Malaga (1-2) and Roma (0-3).
Real Madrid (3-0) are top of Group F following a 98-79 mauling of Maccabi Tel Aviv (1-2) in Spain.
Louis Bullock led the way in the rout for Madrid with 24 points.
For Maccabi, Puerto Rico international Carlos Arroyo poured in 21 points and dished out five assists and Israel's Lior Eliyahu scored 20 but only had two rebounds.
Regal Barcelona are second in Group F following their 85-69 thumping of Alba Berlin.
Turkey international Ersan Ilyasova had one of the top performances of the round with 30 points and 11 rebounds for Barca.
A former Turkey national team big man, Mirsad Turkcan, had 20 points and 13 rebounds as Fener won at Cibona 65-55.
The Turkish giants trailed 43-41 heading into the final quarter but then turned on the style over the final 10 minutes to take a vital road victory.
The two clubs are now 1-2 in Group H behind CSKA Moscow and Montepaschi Siena (both 1-2).
