MALAGA (Euroleague) - Unicaja Malaga scraped a 60-56 triumph over Olympiacos in a marquee Euroleague clash on Wednesday.

Cibona Zagreb were also big winners over Le Mans in Croatia.

The results has left Olympiacos, Unicaja and Cibona with 5-2 records at the top of Group A.

Thomas Kelati had 16 points for Malaga with none of his teammates reaching double figures.

Olympiacos led for most of the first three quarters and the game had several ties, the last at 54-54 with less than four minutes remaining.

Malaga held Olympiacos to just two points the rest of the way.

Unicaja's Carlos Cabezas poured in nine points and Jiri Welsch eight while for Olympiacos, Greek internationals Georgios Printezis and Sofoklis Schortsanitis had 12 apiece.

Big Sofo only played 11 minutes but was nearly unstoppable on offense in the limited time he was on the court.

Unicaja held Josh Childress, Olympiacos' big summer signing from the Atlanta Hawks, to seven points on three of nine shooting.

Olympiacos shot themselves in the foot at the free throw line, making a mere 11 of 17. They were a woeful one of 11 from long range.

Rawle Marshall scored 21 points and Earl Calloway 18 as Cibona won their game at home over Le Mans, 89-70.

In Group D, CSKA Moscow (6-1) bounced back from their defeat at Armani Jeans Milano with a 93-61 demolition of Panionios OT.

Milano weren't able to build any momentum on their upset win as they slipped to a 74-67 setback at Efes Pilsen.

In Group B, Montepaschi Siena are at the top of the standings at 6-1 following their 100-93 win over Zalgiris Kaunas.

Tau Ceramica could have a share of first place in Group C if Lottomatica Roma fall at DKV Joventut on Thursday.

That's because Tau (5-2) rolled to a 101-69 home victory over Union Olimpija.
