MUNICH (Germany) - There was joy for both Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring and LDLC ASVEL Feminin on Wednesday night as both clubs booked their respective tickets to the EuroCup Women Semi-Finals.

Already holding a commanding 27-point advantage from the first meeting with Cadi La Seu, Galatasaray were the first to book their spot in the last four as they finished the job with a 75-65 success in Istanbul.

    ...

It had looked like it would be another massive victory when the hosts got onto the front foot early and continued their fine work from the previous game, but Cadi La Seu kept fighting until the end.

As usual it was a majestic double-double from Teaira McCowan that paced the win as the center returned 20 points and 16 rebounds, while fellow frontcourt star Azura Stevens also completed the feat with 12 points and 11 boards.

A few hours later and it was the turn of LDLC ASVEL Feminin to progress as they also built on what was always likely to be an insurmountable 30 point first leg lead - and so it proved.

They went to Angers and completed a win double with a 71-60 success that was founded on a strong finish to the contest, as well as 18 points from Alexia Chartereau. The home side were propelled by Jasmine Bailey who responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds in defeat.

The remaining Quarter-Final second leg games between Umana Reyer Venezia and Elitzur Landco Ramla, as well as Casademont Zaragoza and Villeneuve d'Ascq LM will both take place on Thursday.
