    KATOWICE (Poland) - Poland has announced their final 12-man roster for FIBA EuroBasket 2025, as it gets ready to welcome the basketball fraternity to Katowice this summer.

    After a busy preparation period in which they played eight games, Poland has selected a squad led by Mateusz Ponitka and new addition Jordan Loyd as they aim to build upon their Semi-Final run in 2022.

    Poland secured wins over fellow EuroBasket competitors Iceland, Sweden, and Georgia, but lost their other five games, including the final two, both of which were against Finland. They were also dealt a blow after NBA star Jeremy Sochan was forced to withdraw ahead of the tournament.

    However, in front of a vocal home crowd in Katowice, which last hosted the EuroBasket event back in 2009, Poland will arrive standing a good chance of qualifying, despite being housed in a tricky Group D.
