MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers tipped off on Thursday evening and 14 more teams will get their campaigns underway on Friday to wrap up Gameday 1 fixtures across the four remaining groups.
The second day of action will feature a number of marquee matchups, with France taking on Croatia, Greece welcoming Czechia and Serbia testing FIBA EuroBasket 2025 co-hosts Finland. The other games will also carry massive qualification implications, as all participating nations will aim to get off to the best possible start.

Game of the Day: France vs Croatia
France finished in 18th place at the 2023 FIBA World Cup after losing to Canada and Latvia in the First Round to drop to the 17-32 Classification. It was not the result the French had hoped for one year before the 2024 Olympics, but they will look to start the year on a positive note against Croatia. The Balkan side had to go through the Pre-Qualifiers after getting bounced in the First Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers. A victory in France would be a major step for Croatia, who also have Bosnia and Herzegovina and 2025 co-hosts Cyprus to contend with in Group E.
