PARIS (France) - Rudy Gobert and Evan Fournier have been included in an initial squad of 17 players as France step up their preparations for FIBA EuroBasket 2022.
PARIS (France) - Rudy Gobert and Evan Fournier have been included in an initial squad of 17 players as France step up their preparations for FIBA EuroBasket 2022.
The superstar duo had already confirmed their intention to play in this summer's flagship event as they look to help France win a first title in the competition since 2013.

Vincent Collet has also called up rising young star Victor Wembanyama with the 2004-born center already attracting plenty of interest around the world having just joined Metropolitans 92 for the coming season.
Theo Maledon, Elie Okobo and Vincent Poirier all returned to national team colors for the recent FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers window and the trio have been included alongside Frank Ntilikina, who had missed out through injury.

France are in Group B for EuroBasket as they take on Lithuania, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the hosts Germany in Cologne.
