Lithuania too much inside for Israel, grab first win

TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Lithuania dominated the inside in picking up an 88-73 victory over Israel to improve to 2-0 in Group B.

Edgaras Ulanovas scored 18 points and Jonas Valanciunas picked up 11 and 10 rebounds as Lithuania out-rebounded Israel 43-21, including 14 offensive rebounds. Richard Howell, Gal Mekel and Omri Casspi combined for 43 points, but they were not enough as Israel dropped to 0-2 in the group.
