EuroBasket 2015 Group Phase schedule finalised

MUNICH (EuroBasket 2015) - FIBA Europe have announced that the Group Phase schedule for EuroBasket 2015 has now been finalised with all game times confirmed.

Beginning on 5 September, Estonia will take on the Czech Republic in the opening game of the tournament in Riga at 15:30 local time (14:30 CET) with games at the other three venues set to tip off simultaneously at 15:00 CET time.

All 24 teams will be in action over the course of the opening weekend before those in Groups B and C enjoy a rest day on 7 September, with the ones from Groups A and D doing so the following day.

The Group Phase wraps up on 10 September with the top four teams from each group advancing to the Final Phase in Lille, where the action gets underway on 12 September.

The Final Phase schedule may still be subject to change, taking into account television requirements.

Ticket sales to Europe's premier basketball event have been strong in the four arenas for which they are available, with a number of games already close to selling out.
