2011 World Championships
Team Characteristics
Solid club with strengths on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Very unselfish offensive team that uses the pass well and uses post players to their advantage. Fundamental approach to defending in the half court with good floor position and physical play in the lane. May do some switching on the perimeter but rely on good help side rotation for posts slipping. Team approach to the game lends to consistent play.
Offensive Tendencies
Can score in a multitude of ways from all five spots on the floor. Prefer to isolate on one side for two man game. After screening post can roll, step back or slip on open side. Attack quickly on the catch if defender is not ready and can score off the dribble. Posts provide quality scoring and passing from high and low post.
Transition
Will run after made or missed shots or free throws by opponent. Guards get a lot of defensive rebounds and immediately push ball down middle of the floor. Second post trails the play while other post seals inside for post feed and score.
Set Plays
1. Dribble out to right wing, post down screen to block, ball reversal and pass to isolated post.

2. Entry up top after down screen followed by on ball screen and roll for open jump shot.

3. High post entry, back screen and back cut by perimeter player for lay up.

Out of Bounds
From both sideline and baseline looking for quick scoring opportunity. Next they will call set play or begin with half court motion offense.
Defense Tendencies
Mix straight man to man and match up tendencies within a man to man look. Will switch on ball screens if necessary. Physical in the post and work hard to keep it from entering there. Ball pressure is consistent as is the block out and defensive rebound.
