ESP - Tau clinch record-breaking win

VITORIA (Euroleague) - Tau Ceramica extended their record in Group D of the Euroleague Top 16 to 3-0 on Wednesday night after a 99-56 thrashing of Lottomatica Roma.

The hosts started with a 17-4 run and never looked back as they secured a record-breaking victory margin at this stage of the competition.

The victory also meant Tau tied the longest home winning streak ever in the competition at 25 games.

Serkan Erdogan top scored with 24 points, Tiago Splitter added 18 points, Ender Arslan 14 and Luis Scola 13.

Alex Righetti had 13 points for the visitors and Dejan Bodiroga 11.

Panathinaikos also made it three wins from three games with a 75-69 triumph at Prokom in Group F.

Sani Becirovic led all scorers with 18 points and six assists for the Greeks, while Mike Batiste turned in a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Dynamo Moscow improved their record to 2-1 in Group G following an 86-80 victory over Unicaja Malaga in the Russian capital.

Bojan Popovic led the winners with 21 points.
