ESP - Sada, Andersen shine as Barcelona rout Real Madrid

BARCELONA (ACB) - Real Madrid claimed the scalp of defending Euroleague champions CSKA Moscow in midweek but back in Spain on Saturday they crashed to a heavy defeat at Regal Barcelona.

Xavier Pascual's Barca followed up their 87-61 destruction of Montepaschi Siena in the Euroleague at Barcelona by hammering Real 87-67 at the Palau Blaugrana.

Victor Sada had five points but dished out 12 assists while former CSKA Moscow big man David Andersen wreaked havoc on Madrid by scoring 22.

Australia international Andersen, Spain's Juan Carlos Navarro and Czech Lubos Barton were each two of three from three-point range for Barcelona, who improved to 10-3 while dropping Real to 8-5.

Barca remained two games behind league leaders Tau Ceramica (12-1). Dusko Ivanovic's men rolled to a 94-84 triumph at CAI Zaragoza (4-9).

Unicaja Malaga are level with Barcelona at 10-3 after falling 81-75 at ninth-place Ricoh Manresa (7-7).

DKV Joventut and Kalise Gran Canaria are each 9-4 after claiming victories.

Ricky Rubio showed signs of returning to his best since his wrist operation. He finished two points shy of a double-double in his team's 97-80 thumping of seventh-place Pamesa Valencia.

For DKV, Lithuania international Simas Jasaitis poured in 25 points while Jan Jagla of Germany and Eduardo Hernández-Sonseca had 15 apiece.

Canada international Carl English had 22 points as Gran Canaria romped to a 99-80 home win over Bilbao.

CB Granada are in eighth place at 7-7 following a 78-74 defeat at ViveMenorca.

In other games, MMT Estudiantes suffered a 77-71 defeat to Bruesa and Fuenlabrada edged Cajasol 84-79.
