ZARAGOZA (ACB) - Argentina's Paolo Quinteros lit it up from long range for CAI Zaragoza in a big win over Lagun ARO GBC and has been honored as the ACB's Player of the Week.

A key man in his national team, Quinteros made all four of shots from behind the arc and was nine of 13 overall en route to a season-high 27 points on Wednesday night in an 88-72 triumph over the visitors from San Sebastian.

Quinteros also had five assists and ended up with a valuation of 37.

"Luckily I had a great night which served only to help us win," Quinteros said.

Most important for Zaragoza is that the victory improved the club’s record to 7-9 in a very competitive ACB.

The award is a well-earned birthday present for Quinteros, who turns 32 on Saturday.
