MADRID (ACB) - Marcus Fizer has won his first ACB player of the week award after an impressive performance for Polaris World CB Murcia against Pamesa Valencia on Sunday.

The former Chicago Bulls power forward poured in 27 points, hauled down seven rebounds and handed out one assist in what was the leading individual display of the weekend.

However, it was not enough for Murcia to avoid defeat, as they went down 83-75 at the hands of Valencia.

Francesc Solana was the best domestic player, after helping Alta Gestion Fuenlabrada inflict a shock 67-66 defeat on high-flying Tau Ceramica.

The veteran forward scored a game-high 21 points, and added two rebounds and four assists in a decent all-round performance.
