MADRID (ACB) - Ayuda en acción Fuenlabrada haven't put a foot wrong in the ACB this season and newcomers Gerald Fitch and Esteban Batista of Uruguay are big reasons why.

The duo led the team to its fourth victory in as many games on Saturday, 90-82, over Meridiano Alicante.

Uruguay international Batista earned Player of the Week honors after Fuenlabrada's season-opening triumph at Unicaja Malaga while on Saturday, Fitch exploded for 41 points to receive the ACB gong this time.

Fitch hit seven of nine shots from three-point range.

His points haul set a new club record, surpassing the 37 once scored in a game by former Fuenlabrada star Velimir Perasovic.

"I am very satisfied with my personal performance and for being the Player of the Week, but what I like best is helping the team win," Fitch said.

"This is just the start of the season with a lot of work to be done for us to achieve our goals.

"We're glad with what we have achieved, but at the same time working hard for our forthcoming games."

Batista had a solid game as well on Saturday with 23 points and eight rebounds.

Caja Laboral and Real Madrid are the other unbeaten sides in the ACB after beating Xacobeo Blu:sens and CB Murcia, respectively.

Caja Laboral won 100-81 after a 22-point game from Pau Ribas.

Two of the Brazilians that will be at the 2010 FIBA World Championship had big games, too.

Caja captain Tiago Splitter poured in 20 points and playmaker Marcelo Huertas had nine assists to go with his seven points.

Madrid were 73-66 winners over Murcia, with Lithuania's Darjus Lavrinovic (22 points) and Serbia's Novica Velickovic (18pts) providing much of the inspiration for Ettore Messina's side.

A testament to the strength of the league has been the 0-4 start to the campaign by Unicaja, who despite the loss of key players should still be among the ACB's best.

They lost at Lagun Aro GBC 83-76.

In other games, Regal Barcelona defeated DKV Joventut 92-59, Cajasol Sevilla won big at Estudiantes 84-63 and Gran Canaria 2014 fell at Blancos Rueda Valladolid 67-61.

Valencia Basket Club trounced Granada 82-65 and Suzuki Manresa beat Basket Bilbao 62-57.
