VITORIA (ACB) - Stanko Barac has signed a three-year contract extension with Caja Laboral that will keep the Croatia international center tied to the Vitoria club through the 2014-15 campaign.
The 24-year-old, whose NBA draft rights are held by the Indiana Pacers, is averaging career highs in points (11.6), rebounds (7) and minutes (25) this season in the ACB.
In the Euroleague, he is averaging 14.5 points and seven boards in 25.4 minutes per game.
Barac has a more prominent role following the departure of the club's long-time star, Brazil international Tiago Splitter, to the San Antonio Spurs.
Caja Laboral are the defending ACB champions and currently own a 4-1 record while in the Euroleague, they are off to a 2-0 start.
