    ESP - Borchardt wins MVP award

    MADRID (ACB) - Curtis Borchardt produced another memorable performance for CB Granada this weekend to pick up the ACB's MVP of the week award. The American centre had been sidelined for almost a month through injury but he bounced back with 17 points, 11 rebounds and one assist to help Granada record an 81-70 home win over Polaris World CB Murcia.

    MADRID (ACB) - Curtis Borchardt produced another memorable performance for CB Granada this weekend to pick up the ACB's MVP of the week award.

    The American centre had been sidelined for almost a month through injury but he bounced back with 17 points, 11 rebounds and one assist to help Granada record an 81-70 home win over Polaris World CB Murcia.

    Borchardt, who is averaging over 15 points from 26 games this season, has now won five player of the week awards during the current campaign, and was named
    MVP of the month for November, December and January.

    The award for the best domestic player of the week went to DKV Joventut ace Rudy Fernandez.

    The Spain international, a gold medalist at last summer's FIBA World Championship, contributed 24 points, three rebounds and five assists as DKV defeated Gran Canaria Grupo Dunas 95-74.
