BILBAO (ACB) - Bizkaia Bilbao Basket capped a magical three days with a late 79-75 victory over Power Electronics Valencia on Sunday afternoon to book a spot in the ACB play-off semi-finals.

The triumph, which followed Friday's Game 1 success in Valencia, has put Fotis Katsikaris' team into a last-four clash with Real Madrid.

Madrid completed a 2-0 sweep of Fuenlabrada on Sunday with a 68-55 win.

Caja Laboral also beat Gran Canaria 2014, 93-76, to earn a 2-0 triumph in that quarter-final and set up a semi-final showdown with Regal Barcelona, who beat Unicaja Malaga in their two games.

Bilbao had never won a play-off game before this season but they took away Valencia's home-court advantage at La Fonteta on Friday with a 79-72 triumph and then survived in a thriller in front of their own fans on Sunday.

Valencia had 24 turnovers in the contest but appeared to have the upper hand when Nando De Colo scored for a 74-67 lead with just over two minutes to go.

Bilbao, who got a free-throw from Aaron Jackson and three-ball from Alex Mumbru, then caught a break with the referee called an unsportsmanlike foul on Victor Claver when Kostas Vasileiadis drove to the basket.

The Greek went to the line and made two free-throws and with Bilbao maintaining possession, Mumbru put them into a 75-74 advantage with a basket down low.

Omar Cook then turned the ball over while attempting to inbound the ball with the pass landing on the end-line.

Vasileiadis made four more free-throws and Bilbao ended up with a four-point victory.

Svetislav Pesic, the Valencia coach who had guided the team to a third-place finish during the season and to within one victory of a place in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, tipped his hat to Bilbao.

"Everyone expected a tough game with emotion and intensity on defense," he said.

"In this situation, Bilbao showed more experience, calm and concentration.

"We had many problems with ourselves, many emotions, many times we played like we wanted to play, but it was very difficult to lose this game with this game plan."

When asked about the crucial unsportsmanlike foul on Claver, Pesic said: "Basketball is also about being calm and having concentration in decisive moments and not about making excuses with referees' decisions.

"They've had some very good decisions for us but also for Bilbao. They (Bilbao) have shown more concentration and more importantly, we turned the ball over 24 times.

"We lost the game in the last minute."

In Real Madrid's win at Fuenlabrada, Sergio Llull had 16 points and Clay Tucker 13, and the visitors also won the rebounding battle, 42-34.

Mexico international Gustavo Ayon, the ACB's Revelation of the Year, had 12 points and 15 rebounds for Fuenlabrada.

Caja Laboral broke up a close game in the fourth quarter, outscoring Gran Canaria 32-17.

Brad Oleson finished with 21 points and Stanko Barac had 11 with 11 rebounds.
