BILBAO (ACB) - Bizkaia Bilbao Basket rallied late on to complete their come-from-behind series victory over Real Madrid and reach the ACB play-off final with an 80-72 win on Thursday night.

Aaron Jackson scored 17 points, while Spain international Alex Mumbru added 15 and Marko Banic had 12 as Bilbao wrapped up the series 3-1 having lost the opening game.

Bilbao trailed 70-66 late in the game against a Madrid side determined to get back on level terms in the series, but a 14-2 run by the hosts overpowered them.

"It tastes even better after what we suffered during the season," said Mumbru. "We have played a good quarter-final and now a good semi-final. We are very happy.

"The fans were worth an extra 15 or 20 points. Now the team is confident and the team is incredible. But we need to control our euphoria to play well in the final."

Ante Tomic led Real Madrid with 17 points while Sergio Llull had 13 and D'or Fischer 12.

In the finals, Bilbao will face Barcelona, who swept defending champions Caja Laboral 3-0 in their semi-finals.
