BARCELONA (ACB) - Barcelona held off a last-quarter rally from Real Madrid to win 'el clasico' 73-68 on Saturday. Barca had a comfortable 55-46 lead at the end of the third quarter and although Real took the final period 22-18. Felipe Reyes took game-high honours with 16 points for Madrid while Axel Hervelle and Charles Smith poured in 13 each for the losers.

Rodrigo de la Fuente managed 15 for the winners while Michalis Kakiouzis (14) also Denis Marconato (10).
Pamesa Valencia outlasted Unicaja Malaga 74-66 in a victory built in the first two periods - the hosts led 36-24 at the midway point.
Again the leading scorer was on the losing side with Bernardo Rodriguez pouring in 18 while Daniel Santiago 17. Marcus Faison made 13.
Dejan Milojevic led the winners with 14 points.
CB Granada beat Bruesa 80-68 with Andrea Pecile grabbing 21 points including three buckets from beyond the arc. Michael Bradley's 18 points were in vain for Bruesa.
Grup Capitol Valladolid were 71-63 winners over Alta Gestion Fuenlabrada, largely thanks to a herculean effort in the third period which they took 20-6.
