ROMA (Lega A/Euroleague) - Rodrigo de la Fuente will never forget his days at Barcelona, the club he captained in 2003 to the Euroleague title. The 2.00m forward, a former Spain international who represented his country at the 2004 Olympics, spent a decade at Barca before seeking a new adventure in Italy. He moved to Benetton Treviso at the start of the 2007-08 campaign before switching to Lottomatica Roma in mid-season. Ever since, De la Fuente has been one of the Romans’ key players in both Lega A and the Euroleague. He will this week go up against a club he once faced on a regular basis when Roma take on Unicaja Malaga in Euroleague Top 16 action. The 33-year-old De la Fuente gave this interview to FIBA.com’s Jeff Taylor. More videos on www.fiba.basketball & www.youtube.com/fibaworld
