BADALONA (Euroleague) - DKV Joventut has as rich a history in basketball as any team in Spain and all of Europe. Located in Badalona on the outskirts of Barcelona, DKV has won titles and helped create legends. One of those is club president Jordi Villacampa, a championship winner in the ACB and Europe who represented Spain 158 times. DKV is the club where Rudy Fernandez shot to fame before playing for the national side and winning a handful of medals. This season, Rudy moved to the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers. Joventut is also where now the most famous player in Spain and one of the biggest names in Europe, 18-year-old point guard Ricky Rubio, has played since he was 14.
