    TBILISI (Georgia) - The second day's action of FIBA U16 EuroBasket concluded as several teams will fight for the top spots of their respective groups ahead of the Round of 16.

    Top Performers

    Omer Alp Elitas' sublime performance for Türkiye kept them unbeaten in Group A as they defeated Lithuania 91-74. Elitas recorded a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds, shooting 75 percent from the field as he enjoyed an efficiency rating of 30.

    Holders France breezed to 2-0 in Group B with a 96-55 dismissal of Finland, as Nathan Soliman stood out among a line of strong performers for the French. The forward shot 70 percent from the field for his 21 points, while grabbing 9 rebounds and 3 steals for an efficiency rating of 27.

    Spain led from the opening tip to the final buzzer as they bested Germany 82-63. Jan Cerdan led the Spaniards with a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds in an impressive double-double as they remained unbeaten.

    Omri Orland flirted with a triple-double in Israel's 88-80 victory over Estonia - their first win of the FIBA U16 EuroBasket. Orland had 23 points and 11 rebounds, plus he gave out 6 assists for good measure, whilst shooting 44 percent from the field.

    Finland might have dropped to 0-2, but Joseph Tala was sensational. He recorded a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, going 6-for-8 from the floor, including a perfect 2-for-2 from three-point land, and he added 3 assists to his stat line.
