Reisingerova rises up for Pecs; perfect shooting night for Peterson
A double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds, as well as free-throws at the death from Julia Reisingerova were the difference-maker for NKA Universitas Pecs who dodged a bullet 62-60 against Lointek Gernika Bizkaia.
Alexis Peterson also underlined her quality and experience as she was the star of the show for Villeneuve d'Ascq LM in a tough 78-70 win at Sleza Wroclaw.
The guard made all of her 7 attempts from the field and harvested 19 points - along with 6 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Elsewhere, Zuzanna Puc could barely have done more to help SL Benfica after scoring 13 points and also pulling down a truly spectacular haul of 21 rebounds. However, it wasn't enough to prevent her team from falling 73-63 at MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec as Matea Tadic led the Polish team with a fine 14 points and 10 assists.
Meanwhile, Miroslava Mistinova dropped an enormous 33 point performance for CS Rapid Bucuresti as they stunned French side UFAB49 86-79 on the road to get their opening triumph of the season.
